I started Munex because I was tired of biased software reviews that read like advertisements. Every time I needed to choose a new tool—whether it was a CRM, project management software, or an AI assistant—I found myself wading through content that felt more like sales pitches than honest evaluations.
So I decided to build something different.
What Munex Is About
Munex is where I share honest, experience-based reviews of the software tools that power modern work. No fluff, no sponsored rankings, no "top 50 tools" lists that nobody actually reads.
Every review on this site comes from actual usage. I don't write about tools I haven't tested myself. When I compare ChatGPT to Claude, it's because I've spent months using both for real work. When I review a CRM, it's because I've actually managed contacts and deals in it.
How I Review Software
My process is simple but thorough:
- Real Usage — I use each tool for at least 2-4 weeks in actual workflows
- Honest Assessment — I note what works, what doesn't, and who it's actually for
- Clear Recommendations — No wishy-washy "it depends" conclusions. I tell you what I'd choose.
- Regular Updates — Software changes fast. I revisit reviews when tools ship major updates.
